"I got it" is ungrammatical, and while it may correspond to the pronunciation used by many native speakers, in truth what sounds like "I got it" is the contracted form of "I've got it.".

“I get it” and “I got it” are both used to convey understanding. Tone of voice plays a large role in how your conversational partner perceives your response. Teenagers might say “I get it, Mom,” using their tone of voice to indicate that they are fed up with the counsel they are receiving.

Jun 10,  · Very subtle difference, and in general usage, they're interchangeable. Clearly, "I get it" is present tense and indicates that he gets it now. "I got it" is past tense and indicates that yes, he understood (finished action) before the moment of confirming his understanding. But they still add up to the same thing and are interchangeable.

I got it은 완전히 내머리가 그걸 '완벽하게'이해해서 정말 다음에도 잘 '기억'하거나 '쓸 수 있도록' 컨셉이 완전히 잡힌느낌. 헷갈렸던 문제들을 추가적 설명이나 생각을 통해서 완전히 캐치함!

    Yes, I got it." “get”には、“understand”「~を理解する、~がわかる」や、“grasp”「意味などを理解する」と同じような意味があるので、“get it”は、「理解する」「わかる」という意味ですが、“I got it.”と言うと、「理解した」、「分かった」、「了解」または「承知した」などという意味.
